Gardener Kelsey's Tip On Trying New Gardening Tools:
“Sometimes as you explore a new Gardening Tool - it doesn’t always turn out the way you envisioned it. As I was creating these cinnamon roll Foxies, I started to get overwhelmed! The dough wasn’t initially shaping into a fox face the way I imagined it and the icing wasn’t getting as orange as I’d hoped. I was debating giving up and stopping the project, but as a gardener, I started to dig in and I kept on 'growing'! I began to add the little mini chocolate chips for eyes….and then I saw it! The idea was coming together. The cinnamon rolls started to look more and more like Foxie! Are they how I thought they would look? No. Are they perfect? No. Gardening Tools don't have to have a perfect outcome. They can simply just be an hour of time where you are focused on creating, listening to good music, and sneaking a bit of icing here and there. They are rooted in taking your mind off your weeds to help you feel calm and confident. So gardeners, this is a reminder to try new Gardening Tools - even if you are unsure if you’ll be good at them!
