From Pages to Progress: How Our Program Transforms Lives Beyond the Classroom
We absolutely love receiving follow-up stories from the schools we work with. These stories not only warm our hearts but also remind us of the real impact our collaborations have on students and educators alike. Today, we have a heartfelt letter from one of our schools that beautifully illustrates the positive changes brought about by our programs.
Here's an inspiring story that was shared with us just last week....
Hello Shanna,
I hope you are doing well and have lots of wonderful assemblies/programs lined up for this school year! I wanted to pass along a story I was told.
One of our paraprofessionals works with "at-risk" children after school. She shared with me that she has been using your book with her 3rd grade student. The student was having some trouble regulating her emotions at home and was acting out. The para started reading your book every time she went and implemented a physical activity that represented pulling weeds for the student.
They also implemented a gratitude jar together. The best part of the story is that IT WORKS! The student is able to focus on pulling the weeds, and the family is reporting less outbursts.
I wanted you to know that you are "spreading seeds" beyond what you even know! Keep up the great work – you really do make a difference!
For the privacy of the student, names/school information is withheld.
Stories like these remind us of the power of our work and the incredible ripple effect it can have. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute positively to our community and to receive such heartfelt and encouraging feedback. Your support and inspiration fuel our passion and drive us to continue striving for excellence. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us, and for making a difference, one story at a time. ~Shanna Truffini
