No fall is complete without a pumpkin inspired treat! Today on the #PullYourWeeds® Blog we are cozying into a delicious fall recipe that is layered with decadent flavors and tasty textures. Cooking/baking is a wonderful 'Gardening Tool' for gardeners of all ages as it can soothe stress, reduce negative thoughts and builds confidence.
This particular recipe is great for small kids because it requires very minimal ingredients and is fun to construct. All ingredients can be swapped to taste too!

Gardener Shanna's Pumpkin Parfaits
-1 15-oz can pumpkin
-2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt
-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
-1 1/2 cups granola with pumpkin seeds
-maple syrup
-dash cayenne pepper
In 4 mason jars or parfait glasses layer the pumpkin, then the yogurt with a dash of cinnamon, repeat, and finish with one layer of pumpkin.Top with granola, a dash of cayenne pepper and drizzle with maple syrup to taste. (Serves 4)
